The Jefferson High School Drama Department, led by drama teacher and director, Emily Cornelius, competed in the UIL Area 2 Conference 2-A One-Act Play Contest this past Saturday, April 7th at Pine Tree High School in Longview, Texas. The cast performed Gammer Gurton's Needle, a play set in mid-1500's England. The cast's spirited rendition included period costumes and impressive Cockney accents indicative of Bow Bells, England.
